After finishing the Middle to End walk, we had some food at the Frog and Onion pub in Dockyard. It's a pretty cool looking place, almost medieval. Out large round table was beside a fireplace that was so big that a Smart car could have parked inside - with room to spare. The food and service at the Frog and Onion left much to be desired. Scott and I each ordered the same sandwich, and they made the wrong one for both of us -- so we sent it back. Finally we received the correct sandwich, but on a kaiser instead on panini bread -- and it didn't taste that good. The beer was okay though. The waitress made it seem like the whole thing was our fault, no apologies, etc.

My friends and I visited many restaurants on the island but this was by far the worst service we ever received. The waitress was very reluctant to give us a table for twelve despite the restaurant being very empty. After a long wait (in an empty restaurant), she seated us at separate tables and had a very nasty attitude when asked if we could move the tables together. She then informed us that it was FIVE minutes until dinnertime therefore we would not be able to order from the dinner menu. Due to the long wait for the table and the slow service we decided to order out so we would not miss our Ferry. We were then told to go to the bar to order out where we encountered another rude waitress who was angry that twelve people were ordering. We left the restaurant without ordering because their service was horrible and very unprofessional. I wouldn’t suggest anyone spending their money on this type of establishment.

Love this place we visit each time we go to Bermuda. Staff are great..can't do enogh for you. My husband favourite is the fish & chips (best in Bermuda)I love the Frog and Onion burger, they make their own burgers. I also love to shop in the gift shop.
