Overall, Hurricane Florence was not as severe as expected. Winds were strong, but there was no major damage reported. Our power was out for over 24 hours, but we are back in business now. We went for a walk on Monday afternoon and took a few photos of the aftermath:

Read your blog from start to finish. We just arrived on Tuesday for a three year stint so I have enjoyed reading about everything you have seen and done since you arrived including peeks at your apartments. We start looking for a place to live tomorrow and hope to find a place with as amazing a view as the one you have. All of your photos are absolutely stunning and looking forward to reading more about your adventures in Bermuda.

Regarding the blog, we actually are way behind on updating it. We have a whole bunch of things from recent months that we would like to to post, but haven't found the time just yet. Stay tuned...
