Hurricane Wilma Winds and Waves

Although she is about 300 miles west of Bermuda, Hurricane Wilma has been treating us to gale force winds. The winds started last night and continue as I write this (11 AM PDT). I doubt that the winds are strong enough to cause any major damage, but some of the gusts are enough to blow around patio furniture, and any other light items that have been left outside, etc.

This morning I went down to the beach to take some photos of Hurricane Wilma's winds and waves. A little too wavy for swimming, as you can see:

The photos don't really do it justice, so I took a couple of videos. The videos reveal the sound of the wind, if nothing else.

As a sailboat passenger in safely tucked away in St. George's Harbour the night of Oct.24, I appreciate your sense of adventure in going out in Wilma's winds and recording the storm for me to witness. The video and photos are immense.
