Tom Moore's Jungle

As part of our hike through Blue Hole Park, we also hiked through what was once none as Tom Moore's Jungle. Now know as Walishingham Nature Preserve, it really does feel like a jungle at times. Due to Bermuda's small size and dense population, there are few places where you can go and feel like you are truly away from roads and houses and people. Blue Hole Park / Tom Moore's Jungle is one of those few places where you really feel like you are in the middle of the forest (or jungle), far away civilization, at least for much of the hiking trails. This makes it a pretty cool place.

At the end of the hike we arrived at Tom Moores Tavern, and took a few photos:
