The perfect ending.
The boys are at the Bing. As they're wolfing down on mozzarella and manicotti the Feds come bursting in. Guns are out all around and bullets start flying. Tony sees a fed take aim at him and pull the trigger...Scene switch to darkened Soprano bedroom. A sweaty Tony sits bolt upright in bed, hyperventilating. The following conversation ensues...
Tony, "Carm! You're not gonna believe the dream I just had."
Carmella. "Go back to sleep Tony, you gotta get up in a few hours for work."
Tony. “I don't think I can sleep."
Carmella. "If you're startin' to have those mafia nightmares again, maybe you should talk to that sanitation shrink down at the depot. I'll stay up with you until you doze off."
With this, Carmella gets up and turns to Tony. It is not Edie Falco in bed next to Tony but Susanne Pleshett. Fade to black. Roll Credits.
