Will and Grace is one of my favorite shows. To me each cast member is important to the show, without them the show wouldn't be the same.
For instance, Will is the more masculine male in the bunch. He is extremely intelligent and well rounded. He knows about sports, music, fine art and is articulate. Grace is somewhat of a insecure person that always looks to Will for advice and guidance.
Jack seems to be more feminine than even Grace, he knows about fashions and movie star gossip. Karen is my favorite character; she has an eye for fashion and always lets Grace know if an outfit doesn’t look good. She has a sharp tongue and isn’t afraid of anyone. Her husband, Stan, is really rich but you never see him. Karen also has a maid named Rosario who is from El Salvador. Karen always gets her to do things for her that are beyond what a normal maid would be required to do.
One of my favorite episodes is the episode when it was around Christmas time and Will told everyone that he was going to go volunteer at a homeless shelter, when in reality he went to camp over night for Barry Banilow tickets. Grace had tried to ignore her mother because every year, she and her mother had an annual Hanukkah shopping get-together and Grace didn’t want to spend time with her mother that year. While camping overnight he begins to talk to another “Fanilow†whose real name is Sara Gilbert. She played Darlene in the 90’s sitcom Roseanne.
While she is walking down the street she sees Will and then begins to make fun of him for wanting to see Barry Manilow. Will admits to Grace that he needs to go to the bathroom and tells Grace to hold his place. While she is waiting for him to return she notices her mom at the diner across the street. At first she wonders what she is doing then she sees Jack sitting next to her. Grace gets a little offended and then she begins to question why her mom is with Jack in the First place. While Will is waiting for the bathroom, a man begins to try and make small talk with him. Will repeatly tells the man that he is not interested in him or what he has to say but that all changes when Will finds out the man is Barry Manilow’s road manager and come get him in to meet Barry Manilow. The man and Will make a deal, if Will will go out on a date with him then he can meet Barry Manilow. Will agrees and then meet Barry Manilow. Meanwhile, Grace becomes so upset that she runs across the street and tells Jack to leave while she speaks to her mother. She tells her mother that she became jealous whenever she saw Jack and her having fun and laughing. She tells her mom that she would like to have their annual Hanukkah shopping get-together.
