A lot of work for Stan the Caddy

After learning some important lessons about SEO, I quickly realized that Stan had a lot of work ahead of him in order to properly optimize StanTheCaddy.com. One of the things that I started to do was divide the episode guide -- which was previously one really long page with short descriptions of all 180 episodes -- into 180 separate pages, one for each episode. Each episode page had a unique title, heading, and META tags. While this significant effort did help in boosting traffic, there was a major problem that needed to be address: frames.

I mentioned previously the NetZero setup that I was using for stanthecaddy.com, which was based on using frames. Furthermore, I was also using iframes (another kind of frame) throughout the site for navigation and layout. Each of the 180 episode pages employed frames to display the episode descriptions. By this time I also had many transcripts of episodes posted to the site, each using the same iframe structure.

I realized I need to get of of the frames and the frame-based URL setup. But this represented a complete redesign of the site, which had now grown to about 300 pages. It was a lot of work, very daunting indeed. As such, I decided to put the project on the backburner, at least for the time-being.
