Blog Lesson - Bloggers Love to Link to Other Blogs

After learning about blogs, and after reading many different blogs, a pattern of blogger behavior quickly began to emerge. Blog entries often discuss something that exist on another web page. For example, a blogger might talk about a cool site that she found, and include a link to it in her blog entry. I also noticed that the target of many of these links were other blogs:

Bloggers love to link to other blogs...if they find them interesting

For example, Joe may write in his blog "Bill wrote yesterday in his blogs about [...] which I total agree with". Many blogs are very interactive in this manner, and inter-blog conversations are not uncommon.

The last part of this last is important: bloggers will only link to other blogs (or blog entries) that they find interesting. Bloggers may love to link, and they may do it a lot, maybe too much. But they don't do it randomly, they link when they find something of interest to them.
