It's designed to offer the high performance of an SLR with the simplicity of a point-&-shoot. Picture Stabilization helps prevent blurry images. Face Detection instantly identifies faces in the scene and automatically adjusts focus and exposure to ensure faithful images of people. Face Detection even identifies faces at a distance, so that the people in your pictures are in clear focus. The FinePix S8100fd features a red-eye removal function that automatically detects and corrects unsightly red-eye reflections that often spoil flash snapshots of people. High-speed continuous shooting mode captures up to 13.5 frames per second in a burst, perfect for moving subjects. The high-resolution 2.5' LCD can display up to 100 picture images simultaneously in up to 10x10 arrays. Use this micro-thumbnail view to instantly select specific photos to view or print. Use xD, SD or SDHC memory cards to store images. Capture stills and movies. Automatic and manual modes are included for simplicity and creativity. Uses 4 AA Battery power for use around the world.
