Cairo to Luxor

After receiving our 3:45 AM wake-up call, we packed our stuff and had our last breakfast at the foot of the pyramids, this time it was still dark as we ate. We then boarded the bus for the airport. The flight left at 8:02 and arrived at 8:55, less than an hour in an Airbus 320. We didn't have window seats, but we could see that there were deserts and mountains and such below.

Luxor was warmer than Cairo, though it was still only 9:30 AM. We met with our tour guide, picked up our bags and board the bus. When we reach the cruise boat on the Nile, we met in the lounge for orientation, along with some hibiscus juice (yummy). After getting our rooms, we had a buffet lunch on the ship and boarded the bus.
