Dinner at Al Rubbayat
Tonight we went for dinner at the Al Rubbayat restaurant at Mena House hotel in Giza. The restaurant is a very hostoric restaurant -- there are photos in the menu from the 1920s. The room has very high ceilings (more than 50 feet high). The cuisine was french. We had the lobster and shrimp cream soup to start -- not as creamy as one might expect for a cream soup, but it was quite good. I had the Grouper with a dijon sauce and Michelle had the salmon. We had a chocolate mousse dessert with mecerated raisins -- very good.
