Egyptian Museum

In the morning, we visited the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. As you might expect, there were many statues, sarcofogi, and other artifacts. The most popular (and famous) part of the Egyptian Museum is the Tutankhamun Exhibit (a.k.a. King Tut). The exhibit features gold plated coffins, jewels, and of course, the famous gold funerary mask.

A trip to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo is essential for any trip to Egypt. We only had a few hours, but one could easily spend the whole day there.
