Empire State Building

After crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, we took the subway to 34th Street. After entering the Empire State Building, we decided to listen to the sales pitch of the guy who was yelling at people in line. He conviced us to buy the "combo ticket", to save us 45 minutes in line. The combo ticket gets you access to the observastion level and the simulator ride show. We still had to wait 15 minutes to buy the combo ticket and about 45 minutes for the first set of elevators and 10 minutes for the second set of elevators. We finally made it to the observation level at 4:30 and the sun was beginning to set. We got some (hopefully) good sunset photos and some of the building below. It was freeezing in the wind at the top (86th floor). I am glad that Michelle made me bring my scarf. Aftert that, we waited again to see the second part of the combo ticket, the simulator show. The ride was not very good, we didn't really learn that much.
