Felucca Boat Ride on the Nile

We arrived in Luxor with enough time to hire a felucca (sailboat) for a sunset cruise on the Nile. Apart from the fact that there was virtually no window, the experience was great, and so was the sunset. After the sun went down, we could see the crescent moon, the sign that Ramadan was over.

We then had dinner at a small restaurant on the bank of the Nile River. I had the chicken curry and Michelle had soup with tahina and bread. The turkish coffee was very good. After dinner we learned that our flight, which was scheduled to leave at 8:00pm, was delayed for 1 hour. So we walked up and down the main corniche, stopping at a few stores.
