The Colossi of Memnon

After Queen Hatshepsut's temple, we went to see the Colossi of Menon. The colossi are two very, very large statues made of granite (which is much heavier than limestone). Amazing that these could have been carved, erected, and still standing after thousands of years.

We then took the bus back to the boat, taking some photos of the sunset from the bus on the way back.
