Washington Cemetary
We woke up at 9:30, well rested. We didn't rush to get out. As Sandy prepared pancakes - ginormous pancakes - for us, we looked into museums and tickets for shows. At about 11, we left to walk to the subway station.
Before getting on the train, we took some photos of the very large, very crowded Washington Cemetary in Brooklyn. The cemetary spans several blocks, with a few housing complexes that seem to have been built in the middle of the cemetary. The tombstones, which are so close that they are touching, vary in size a lot, making the whole scene look very interesting. If you look at it quickly, it is almost like you are looking at a minature city, with the tombstones being tall concrete buildings.
