Learning how to learn

Learning is changing.

With new techniques, tools, and technologies, the way we learn in the future will drastically different from the way we learn today. eLearning, online learning, virtual classrooms, blogs, distance learning, video-conferencing, Wi-Fi, PDAs, the Internet - how will these and others impact and shape the learning of the future? Are the days of the classroom with a blackboard numbered? How will teaching as profession change and evolve? What will the university of the future look like? What are the most effective learning systems and technologies? Will online learning have a detrimental effect on the social development of our children? Will learning institutions become truly international? Will future learning be radically different than the learning of the past? How will be people learn 10 years from now?

I don't have all the answers to these questions. But the questions fascinate me. So much so that I am setting out on a quest, a quest to learn about these new ways of learning. The knowledge that I gather in this endeavour will be stored here in this blog. This blog schoolbook, if you will, as I set out to elearn about new ways to learn.
