I'm wondering about the program Traffic Hurricane. Would using it get my site banned from google? Basiclly it allows you to create thousands of targeted pages to allow you to drive traffic to another domain. (your main site) unlike doorway creation programs you can include changing content, rss feeds & links to your competitors as well. So the sites are readable by search engines as well as humans.
Is it a bad idea? if all the pages are different from anyone elses and have changing content, linking to other domains would my site be penalized in google for using it?

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, Thanks...

YES! It will definitely get you banned from Google. Not knowing this myself I used Traffic Hurricane and the next thing I knew my main source of Traffic (GOOGLE) pulled my direct link from their site and after multiple requests to re-list me they have not. So don't use it!

I don’t normally spent time following a post like this with anything but, someone sent me an email about it so I feel that I should.

This is a very broad statement here, that if you use Traffic Hurricane your site will get banned.

Lets look it over. There are thousands of people using Traffic Hurricane. I get unsolicited testimonials from people almost every day saying how well their website or websites are doing since using Traffic Hurricane; many, many of which are people who have been using Traffic Hurricane for many, many months.

I have had people email me and say that they were dropped from Google after using Traffic Hurricane. This is true.

So, will Traffic Hurricane get your site banned? I have to say no and hold firm.

I think the more appropriate question here is, can I abuse a software product like Traffic Hurricane and get into trouble. The answer is a definite yes.

The Traffic Hurricane user has the ability to create thousands of pages of similar content that all look the same pointing back to their website. But, why, if this much duplicate content is frowned upon by the search engines would somebody do this? You can also create thousands of pages with links to your website that include little or no content. You can also create thousands of Hurricane pages pointing back to your website that have a bunch of unrelated keywords, content that has nothing to do with your website, RSS feeds that are unrelated and basically do an excellent job of shooting yourself in the foot.

The above is what NOT to do with Traffic Hurricane.

What has to be understood here is that Traffic Hurricane is just a tool. A powerful tool yes, but just a tool, and it can be easily abused. There was a software product recently released which I consider to be a great product for Blogging. Well, within a few days people were abusing it. I received an email from the creator that went like this:

We have just been made aware that Blog Harbor has begun deleting blogs created with our software. Apparently they feel that it is a violation of their terms of service.

They have unilaterally decided to delete all blogs created using the software because some people have been abusing the use of it, and over-posting to their new blog harbor accounts.

So, will Traffic Hurricane get you dropped or banned or blackballed or whatever. I am afraid that I have to say no. Can you get into trouble by misusing it? I have to say definitely yes.

If you are going to use Traffic Hurricane you can do very well when you follow the instructions and manual. There is access to lots of resources for Traffic Hurricane users and an online manual that walks you through the process of creating great pages that will help your website out but it does need to be used and frankly, it’ s really not that hard. The instructions are very plain and simple to read but they do need to be read and followed.

I hope that I made my point here. Use Traffic Hurricane properly, which most people do, and you’ll do well. Abuse it and you can shoot yourself in the foot.

Best regards,

Larry E. Hall

Well I downloaded the Traffic hurricane free version recently and started using it in my brand new site. Then it struck me. Will using this software get me banned from Google? After looking for some answers it came to me with the horror…. YES IT WILL! Like I said my site is very new and it was only listed in Google and Yahoo! So far. And Google bot is happily indexing my site every ten days or so but my page rank is still 0. So like I said I used TH to create four folders of key word related pages (around 5000 – 7000 pages). Of course this was the moment it was starting to get my attention….. Last week when the Google bot visited my site it had only around 10- 15 links from other sites, but now it has 6000+!!!! It was sure to raise the Google bots eyebrow and get me kicked off as almost as soon as I got listed in the first place!

So I immediately deleted the entire folder that contained TH and the generated pages! It was a close call too. According to my calculations its today or tomorrow that Google bot is due to visit my site (or in this case inspection is more fitting!) again.

A But as Mr. Larry Hall says it may not get you banned if it’s used “correctly”. With all due respect what is “correctly”?. Who is to decide is it abuse or fair use? Only Google! If Google feels its “unfitting” it will remove your site from the index. Not to mention the email of doom that you will be served by Google informing about your sites been “exiled”. And once you get banned it takes 6 to 12 months to get you re-listed…. That of course if Google ever cares to re-list you (remember the odds will NEVER be in your favor!).

My feeling is it’s NEVER worth the risk! Traffic hurricane is a great software I admit that. But it’s also cheating in away. It worked great when it first came out but things have changed since then and using something like this or any other “short-cuts” will be a fatal error for any web master!

Google is putting up more restrictions and pressure than ever on webmasters. Now Google even checks for “over optimization”? Which means if Google finds a site that’s over optimized it will reduce the page rank. Or in rare cases, the site will be banned all together! I wouldn’t be surprised if Google banns all sites that use software’s like TH in the near future!

I would like to know if anyone got Traffic Hurricane to work with their Hosting Service or did they buy into Larry Hall's Domain-WebHost
Service. I tried to get it to work with 3 separate Hosts that met the requirements of Traffic Hurricane and the program crashed all 3 times. Traffic Hurricane's tech support couldn't or wouldn't help. I think that they have made it to work only with that one host and I think Larry Hall owns it!@# He won't answer me about this. I wonder why!

Hello everyone. How about an unsolicited testimonial sent to me this week :-)

-When I realized that my ClickBank account was making a bunch of money when none of my promotions were for anything on Click Bank I got curious so...

I found out that Yahoo had over 19,500 of my TH pages indexed and Google had over 5,250 indexed. Then I realized that I had A TON of traffic coming in!

Needless to say I started paying attention to my TH emails but they were all promoting the new version.

When you work hard at marketing your product and coaching, it's really nice to see old work pay off. Those pages were created back in September when I purchased
it.

Thanks Again and

Warmest Regards,
Rasheed-

(just one of many)

By the way, using Traffic Hurricane "correctly", as I mentioned above would be as simple as reading the online manual. Rasheed did :-)

Thanks,

Larry Hall

Update on my previous post: After 3 unsuccessful attempts at Hosting Services, Larry and his staff recommended a Hosting Service that others had found to work with Traffic Hurricane. It was not an expensive Hosting Service and was not owned by Larry or any of his staff. Traffic Hurricane is now working and I am once again a happy camper :-)

I'm trying my luck in this forum, hoping to attract Mr Hall's attention.

Thanks in advance

Hi all,

From my experience of researching and learning about search engine optimization, I would have to say that one of the important things that I have learned is that taking shortcuts to achieve a higher ranking is never a good idea. Sooner or later it will catch up with you when the search engines figure out how to deal with the method. Instead of using programs to generate pages that are solely focused on promoting one site, why not learn the basics of search engine optimization and employ those techniques. When you use the basics, you will never have to worry about getting banned. Just my thoughts.

I agree with you but the thing is with Maximum Traffic it is simply taking your manually cereated pages and making life a whole lot easier.

Hello

Would be pleased to hear if any body else is dissapointed with the lack of response from their Support section.

Submitted a new ticket over 4 days ago, informing them that there is a problem with the program creating its pages.

Bought Traffic Hurricane Pro, paid a lot of money for it.

Hope this may attract Larry's attention

Cheers

Maximum Traffic continues to get rave reviews and praise to the customer support. The trial version is a click away and will change the way you look at using these types of programs.

Bottom line is there is NO MAGIC pill in SEO but arming yourself with the correct tools is what will keep you ahead of the next guy.

Man, I'm new to this game and you all make it sound like it's very easy to get dropped by serch engines for using these types of products. Surly if it's done right it's ok .
The problem I,m having is figuring out what is right.
