Google can't detect CSS hidden text

Importance: High A member report a case of hidden using on-page CSS (not an external CSS file) setting the font to 1pt and the line height to zero. The name of the style in question was even "searchenginetext". GoogleGuy admits that it takes manual investigation to deal with this kind of spam (for now). While it is generally believed that Google does not read CSS, I don't recall GoogleGuy ever saying (or suggesting) that this is the case. GoogleGuy Says: [Link to quote] surfgatinho, for the time being it normally takes a spam report in order to check out a site/query. I'd drop us a quick note. Things get batched up for processing, so it can take a while, but we'd like to hear about this site. If you include your nick, I'm curious to see the site myself. :)
