It looks like some sort of Google update has begun. As of this morning, the -fi data center was showing new toolbar PageRank and the -cw data center began showing new backlinks. Many webmasters noticed little to no change in the SERPs, however. GoogleGuy agrees, he sees no change in the SERPs either. This comment, while vague, may lend some credence to the theory that Google has entered a continous update model - and that new backlinks and PageRank are being factored continuously (or in much shorter time intervals). Those who subscribe to this theory believe the current "update" is merely cosmetic - revealing the backlinks and PageRank that Google has been using for weeks (hence, no change in the SERPS). Perhaps this is the new model, continuous update, including backlinks and PR, with a
display update once every 4-6 weeks. You decide.....
