Why do we have hair on our heads? We know that we have evolved from creatures who did not walk upright, and were covered with hair. So apart from a little hair on our arms, legs, etc., why do we only have hair on our heads? And why does it keep getting longer? Is there an evolutionary reason for this? Just curious.
The more important question is why does hair start growing out of different places as you age. At 20, hair is in all the typical places. At 30, it's shooting out the nose. At 40, it's growing in your ears. I don't even want to think about 50.
Yea, and what kind of sick joke is being played on fellers like myself who are losing it on our heads, and gaining it in little vegi-patches everywhere else.
We have hair on our heads because we were living in boroughs at one time in our evolution and our heads were the first to come from the den and be exposed to the sunlight.

Well, here's another question...why do we have different colors, textures, maximum lenghts, and hair types (i.e. curly, wavey, and straight?)
