In the month of March, my web sites collectively exceeded one million page views for the first time. Actually, there were 1,301,222 page views, so I am well on my way to two million!
I am not posting this in order to toot my own horn. Rather, I do it to share the results of my strategies for web presence management and search engine optimization (SEO). These strategies, which combine blogging tools with quality content and solid SEO, create a virtuous cycle of traffic growth. I can help you implement similar strategies to help you boost traffic and rankings for your site. For a free assessment of your web site, click here.

Mark,
If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to cross the 1 million page views mark? Also, roughly how many sites are involved?
Thanks for the excellent information provided here.
Joe

The following shows my stats since moving to my current host:
At the beginning of the curve, there were just 2 sites. Currently there are about 20, though 3 or 4 of them represent 95%+ of the traffic.

Mark, how many visitors genrated the 1MM mark. Your top 3 / 4 sites = What were their page views per visitor?

Sorry for the late reply.
380,671 visitors generated the 1.3 million page views, which about 4 pages per visitor. I don't have any breakdown by sites.

Hello, Mark. I have read your comments on Six Apart's ProNet. Congrats on reaching such a milestone. Incidentally, congrats on a very easy-on-the-eyes and readable design for this blog.

Mark,
Congrats on the Million Page Mark. When we spoke athe Stomper gathering last June, you were doing well, but this is a huge milestone. Well done. Must be a month for millions, as Brad Fallon just broke the $1M/month mark for his ecommerce sites. Hopefully my latest online project (which sells the Barefoot Dreams and Little Giraffe lines primarily) will do just as well. It's a good time to be online!

Scott, if you check the date of this entry, you will see that it is 2 years old, April 2004 (long before the Stomper seminar). Since then, traffic has grown, though sometimes up and then down. Page views peaked in October 2005 at over 7 million page views and 1 million unique visitors.
