"There's a place for hard rock, but it doesn't have to be an anorexic, spandex-wearing, stupid, poofy-haired jerk hopping around like a bunny on stage. It can be hard, it can be real, and it can be down, without being stupid."

I have a total passion for the era of good hard rock, not just that cheesey hairy stuff, but crunching power chords and solid drum beats. I've started a record label in 2003 that features some lost demos and up and coming bands who remember the rock. Check out Bittersweet ... you all might dig that one just a bit.

ROCK!!!

What do you think about the new Hard Rock bands coming out?

The New York Post's 'New York Minute" gossip section just had a paragraph on that group Hinder:

The band that plays together stays together. Two male members of Hinder, a new act just signed by Universal, ended up in bed this week in their Vancouver hotel suite, along with "their female stylist, her female assistant, and the photographer's female assistant. After the 10- legged tangle, the photographer's assistant apparently didn't make her flight back to Los Angeles and was fired for missing a job." I dunno about you but that makes me respect them more. You think is is a PR scam or they are really about crazy debauchery?

Their site is www.hinderonline.com. I dunno how good their music is, but at least they're entertaining.

check out the new System of a Down CD, it's solid! It's actually the second part of the Mesmorize/Hypnotise set. The band wanted to release them seperately so they got the right attention seperately. It's melodic, straight-forward, and heavy! Rock!
