Simply arranged. Enjoyable to read. Written in language I understand! This Bible is organized for daily reading from 1. Old Testament, 2. New Testament, 3. Psalms, & 4. Proverbs.

I disagree with the person calling themselves a Reader from Hell. I really doubt that person ever read the Bible or any book for that matter and as far as character development goes, this is God's Holy word not a comic book. I'm also disappointed in Amazon.com for even paying lip service to an individual like this. Pay no attention to them. This book along with the Companion is a great set to buy. You won't go wrong and it will most certainly help you in your faith walk.
Rating: - Struggling to read the entire Bible?
This is a great book for anyone who is struggling to read the entire Bible. It is arranged in such a way that makes it interesting and easy to read the Bible in one year and I highly recommend it.

A couple years ago I decided I wanted to read the Bible in its entirety, and this was the edition I bought. In some ways, it was perfectly designed for my purpose: daily readings were broken out by calendar date, with selections each day from the New and Old Testament, and from Psalms and Proverbs.
True to my goal, I read the thing, sometimes getting behind and sometimes doubling up to finish it in the allotted time. And, it was a great feeling to have done it. I'm not sure without the 365 format I would have stuck with it. And, yet, once I was done I felt the need to start all over, because reading the books broken up in the way they are left me feeling a little unclear.
I'm not sure everyone will have the same reaction I did, but I would recommend this format mainly for those who are already familiar with the structure and sequence of the Old Testament. The New Testament can be read out of sequence... I'm not sure the OT can.
Rating: - My New Favorite Book
The Bible isn't new to me, not at all. But this version is just a delight. Yesterday I discovered I love the last two chapters of I Chronicles. Go figure! Unless you're reading the Word systematically, you sure wouldn't expect that. This is such an easy-to-read, user-friendly blessing, that I've bought more copies for friends and family. After a few quick pages of the Old Testament, you get a page or two of the New Testament, then one psalm, and a couple of verses of Proverbs. Before I'm through, I feel that sweet connection with the Holy Spirit. How good is that? It's about as good as it gets!
