This is an amazing book. First, who can say anything bad about a book with a forward from Jhonen Vasquez? This is light reading and perfect before-bed reading. "The Bunny Came Back" is very "Pet Semetary"-ish, and all the other poems are wonderful as well. I can't even begin to pick a favorite. This is my first purchase by this author, but not my last. Bravo, Roman!

Roman Dirge is the daddy of all dark humor! I love him and his wonderful dark humor and increadable drawings. This is the 3rd book i bought by Roman. His work just gets better with every book her writes. The Poems are the most wonderful i have ever read. yay! Keep em coming Roman!!!

I love this book. It has the greatest art work, and the poems are the funniest yet. Very good for people who have a dark type of humor (and admit it, everyone does deep down.) 5 stars aren't enough to describe the zanny poems and illustrations. Also good, is his comic series 'Lenore', which I highly suggest for anyone who liked this book.

Who hasn't had nightmares? Who hasn't wondered what is REALLY scratching at the window on a dark and stormy night?? The choice of words, the linguistic imagery and the unique artwork make this book a keeper for anyone with an imagination!
