Rating:  - Lets Get Nuts!!!
This is quite the abnormal sitcom...it doesn't have a 'growing through the years with the family' type of style...its simple, and the episodes don't really run into each other...the stories are amazing...I watch a lot of shows, reruns in particular...but this is the only one that I can laugh at even after I know the episode in and out...some how, all 4 of the main characters go in a whirlwind adventure that magnifies common life, but yet makes it funny...and make you go...I never thought of that before...and during each adventure (all 4 have one in every episode) they somehow tie into each other, and the stories intersect...and its not the typical 'i thought she was in the room with my roommate doing it, even though they were moaning from lifting something...ala Threes Company'...
its a show about nothing...for example...
George is trying to impress a girl...so he tells her he is a marine biologist...Kramer decides to practice his golf swing on the beach...he stinks at it, but he did get one good shot off into the ocean...later that day, George and his girl are walking along the ocean...and a whale was washed up with a crowd gathering, someone yells out 'is anyone a marine biologist?'...so George, who really likes the girl is forced to help the way..."The sea was angry that day my friend"...George tells his story to his friends (including Kramer), and how he knew something was obstructing the whale's breathing, so he reaches in, and pulls out the obstruction...and he shows his friends...the golf ball Kramer hit earlier..."A hole in one"
I mean that right there beats most shows out, but its even better when you watch it, just because you know how the characters are and their way of showing their adventures...
Jerry is the basic guy, gets girls, but can't stand the little things (he dated a maid...but when he paid her for cleaning his house his friends suggest that its more like a prostituion, she just cleans because she is his girlfriend, but is getting paid for sex)
George is the short tempered, miserable guy, with no patience...and he basically gets screwed over
Elaine is the chick that dates the oddest guys, most memorable being David Putty...she just runs into situations that would annoy any woman, and ends up starting problems unintentionally
Kramer is the neighbor of Jerry, he has been on strike for 12 years, and mooches off of Jerry...he is the whacky character that always makes a memorable appearance and exit
The bottomline though, is that the show is well put together on every episode, and I honestly don't dislike any episode...I don't know what would of happened if they didn't have that particular cast because the chemistry is amazing, and they just fit their character freakishly well...
I mean don't you hate it when you scratch your nose, and a friend is watching from a bad angle and thinks you're picking it? it proves costly in one episode...and how about you go out with a chick with a weird laugh?...and George...man...dating a girl that looks like his friend Jerry...and how the friends tease him and drives him nuts...what can you do?
its just things that are very possible in life, that doesn't have that 'I would of done that instead' affect on you like almost every other show does...its more of a laugh, enjoy, and you simply can't nitpick...
if you don't want all 3 seasons for money wise, and you're uneasy on trying this show out, try one of them, it won't disappoint you, too many memorable moments, episodes...enjoy Seinfeld, only other memorable characters from a sitcom for me is Lowell and Brian from Wings...

Yes! Its finaly here! There is really nothing like being able to come home after a really crapy long hard day of work and be able to relax and cuddle up all comfortable on the couch and enjoy Seinfeld after Seinfeld after Seinfeld. No commercials, it doesnt matter if there's a ball game or some TV special or if the President is on interupting the regular showing of re-runs anymore! Cause come November 23th 2004 I will have my copy of the first 3 seasons of one of the greatest shows to ever play on TV! Thank you for making this possible.

Now there are less costing versions of this. But if you want box set one (seasons 1 and two) and box set two (season three) together with a bunch more extras, get this version. Best comedy show ever!

I couldn't wait for this moment to happen. Now finally I can watch the GREATEST show whenever I want. The first three seasons are good and I can't wait for the remaining 5 to come out because I will be the first to buy it! Thank You for finally making these DVD's!!!

Easily. No other sitcome even comes close... I knew a couple of people who didn't like Seinfeld that much, but they were just crazy so all good...hehehe
