First of all, I've got mine! MINE!!
And I ordered all the way from South East Asia, and yes I've got MINE!! Ha-ha hA-HA-HA!!..MINEEEE!!..SEINFELD - ALL MINEEE!!!I am not going to tell you guys how cool the set is. Let just say I go to sleep with it! I was indeed secretly toying with the idea of giving it away as a present to my girlfriend who loves Seinfeld like crazy. But when the package arrived I went crazy myself!..Gift Set?? What Gift Set?...I'll payback and get her Donny And Marie Osmonds someday.

I love Seinfeld. I always have and I always will. Every second was filled with great writing and captured brilliance. Having all this beautiful material at your fingertips to watch anytime you want is something I will treasure for a long long time.
I have one complaint that I feel needs to be aired. From me to our friends Jerry, Jason, Julia, and Michael. In the upcoming DVD's, don't bother doing comentary if you won't say anything worth hearing. I loved some of the comentary whent they finally started to talk about funny things that happened, and what they liked about the episodes and performances.
DVD's are good for two reasons. The program on it and the special features that give the fans somehting to hold on to. With everything else SOOOOOO perfect, finish the job, and make this a Five Star, perfect thing for a Seinfeld fan to have.

These are the dvds of Seinfeld seasons 1-3....enough said. Loaded with extras of the greatest show ever. It's cool to watch the show progress into the great American comedy that it became.

i AM JEALOUS OF ALL OF YOU THAT ACTUALLY RECEIVED YOUR ITEMS (EVEN A WEEK OR SO AFTER CHRISTMAS). I HAD PAID FOR THE SEINFELD SET 2 WEEKS OR SO BEFORE CHRISTMAS ALSO. NEVER RECEIVED THE ITEM, SO I E-MAILED THIS SELLER WHO NEVER REPLIED. INSTEAD I GET AN E-MAIL SAYING HOW THE ITEM WAS "DISCONTINUED". AFTER IT WAS PAID FOR WEEKS BEFORE, IT WAS STILL "DISCONTINUED". THE SERVICE AND COURTESY OF AMAZON@DVDPLANET.COM WAS UNACCEPTABLE AND I ASK ANY BUYER TO BE CAUTIOUS WHEN DEALING WITH THEM.

The first 5 seasons of Seinfeld will probably never be matched by any other show, simply because it's plot took off from the start and they had such a well-rounded cast. The combination of regular characters/personalities and quirky guests as well as their image of NYC made the show so much more believable. All in all, this was much more than your average TV show and should never be forgotten. The first 3 seasons (with extras) are produced better here on DVD than they were when originally broadcast on TV. The biggest assets of this collection are the hilarious and confident performances of its cast members before they became quasi-icons and living catch-phrases ("spongeworthy", "yada yada yada", for example). And it was all done without the need to resort to crude humor,indecent language, or drug references. The playing cards, Monk's ceramic salt & pepper shakers, and show script are nice bits of lagniappe but add little to the overall package.
This set is still a treasure for those who have seen the first 3 seasons, and an initiation for the unfortunate who have not.
