Rating:  - Look out for packaging flaw.
It is a fabulous set. But I recommend checking the contents of the box right away, because I just opened mine for a peek before wrapping it as a gift and discovered that it held two copies of Volume One and no Volume Two!

I am a huge fan of the show having watching it from the first season until the final. It seems these days, whether it be stand-up or DVDs, Seinfeld charges an arm and a leg for all that he touches. But do we get our money's worth? A firm no. The most disappointing aspect of these DVDs is the low quality transfer. I compared the DVD to a broadcast of Seinfeld, and the broadcast version was clearer with less artifacts. There are all sorts of mosquito noise and specs on the DVD images. The extras are lacking too. Although some of the behind the scenes extras are good, they looked like they were quickly slapped together in one day and are often very short. I agree with the other reviewer that stated the excessive copyright/disclaimer text is damn anoying (in French too!). Commentaries are often few and far between and often include the comments from some producer/director that we don't really care to hear for a full 23 minutes. Seinfeld doesn't seem to partner much with the other cast members perhaps preferring to isolate himself. It would have been fun if he would have joined "the team". In summary, the shows in seasons 1-3 are awesome, but the DVD transfer is sad and the bonus features are weak as the crew is now just going through the motions (much like the last two seasons of the series). On a side-note, don't you find Luis-Dreyfus' present-day make-up and hair style on the extras a little too Malibu Barbie?

Who are you, of all people, to put down a revolutionary TV show and an entire generation of fans who actually HAVE a sense of humor? Get a life. Better yet, go drink bleach + a 40 oz and start doing cartwheels till you pass out and die, [...].
I love Seinfeld. I've been watching it since the early 90s and the episodes STILL crack me up. I remember staying up late with my sisters only to catch an episode of Seinfeld. Good times. This pack is the ultimate christmas present.

The episode quality is totally rockstar, the bonus features are awesome, and the salt and pepper shakers are wicked cool!
This is the PERFECT gift for a fan of the show or of comedy in general!

Just what I have been waiting for... the great Seinfeld series now on DVD, the additional material is great, but I got tired of seen so many copyright information inside, almost for every cut scene and quote there is a copyright text.
I bought it and I know is copyrighted, the guys who will copy it wont care about all this info, if they want to do it, they wil.
Anyway, its great to have it here. Any news on the release for the other seasons???
