Rating:  - Seinfeld - The Complete Fourth Season, a must for any Seinfeld fan
This season is one of the greatest Seinfeld seasons and this disk captures these episodes with some great features including commentary and inside looks.

Recently purchased the box set of season 4 of "Seinfeld" which was touted as the "breakaway season" which was the year when respectability finally came to this series. It is nice to have it on DVD as I have recently given up the cable and don't have any television at all except for that which is pre-recorded and, since "Seinfeld" is something I watched for so many years, it is like having t.v. but better, especially sans commercials. Who needs them? Will probably order other seasons as well until I can roughly duplicate the "WTBS" library.The extras were often interesting and insightul and sometimes rather dull. There seems to be a slight background shimmer which could be from the interaction with my player but doesn't really interfere especially since this is background t.v. anyway. All in all, it is great to have the liberty to purchase programming that looks and sounds good and is worth the money just to avoid the "commercials". That you can choose to watch whatever you wish, when you want makes favorite series, such as this one, a real blessing to have.

It's simple...this has to be the best comedy series ever. Season 4 is just another chapter of this great comedy.

I never thought Seinfeld could get so good!!! While the show is technically about nothing, there is a simple kind of storyline between episodes, where events carry over or are remembered later. All in all, if you like Seinfeld at all, season 4 here rocks. It also has lots of great bonus features. If you're new to Seinfeld, I recommend starting with season 4, then check it out on television.
