Rating: - Screw The Kid
A person can have an opinion that they don't like Mozart, or Charlie Parker...BUT that person can NEVER take away the excellence of such artists. Some people will never be able to see greatness in simple things. Some people will always be judgemental. It's easy to slam something you don't understand. Obviously you, kid, don't understand it, and you are too much of a pussy to list your email address with your reviews. Grow up. I'd be willing to bet you are a born again christian...or something like that....truly self-righteous you are.
Rating: - EXCELLENT
I LOVE THIS. I'm a huge Seinfeld fan, and this season is, arguably, the best of the entire series. It's kind of surreal because they get out of Jerry's apartment more, and you get to see them in other places besides Tom's Restaurant. This is great! It has bloopers, inside stories, exclusive interviews and deleted scenes. I have the other ones too, Season 1 and 2 and season 3. Love it!
Rating: - "Oh, No...I'm So Sorry...It's The 'Moops'"
Season four of "Seinfeld" is one of the best conceived and executed moments of comic brilliance in history. The season was conceived by Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld as an arc telling the story of Jerry and George's TV pilot for NBC featuring Jerry in a show about nothing. Although the season kept reverting to that plot convention throughout, the individual shows were generally less specifically involved, with a couple of exceptions, most notably the one hour season finale "The Pilot."
This season is dominated by memorable "Seinfeld" moments, and in fact contains several of my all time favorite episodes, including "The Bubble Boy" (the "Moops" exchange is one of my very favorite moments ever captured on film; I especially love the look on Susan's face when George punctures the bubble); "The Cheever Letters" (one of the more surreal plots with perhaps the best surprise of the series, once again delivered by Susan); the classic episode, "The Contest" (I particularly love the matched shots of the contrast between angst and peaceful sleep); "The Junior Mint" (which is one of the most visually and conceptually amusing of all Seinfeld episodes); and last but not least, "The Smelly Car," which I find to be one of the best written of all the "Seinfeld" episodes ("It's beyond BO...It's BBO!").
The extras are great and include numerous commentary tracks, the amusing and informative "Notes About Nothing" features, extra scenes, outtakes, and more.
This is the best possible use of your entertainment dollar. I couldn't recommend this set more highly.
Rating: - The start of something great!
I would say that the 4th season of Seinfeld is whre the show took off into lengendary status. Ths extra's are great and the episodes are top notch. There are so many episodes this season that are epics in comedy topped by the contest. I can't wait for season 5 and 6.
Rating: - Seinfeld is the best show ever!
