Rating: - Just too funny!
This season was perhaps the best of all nine. With such memorable classics as The Bubble Boy, The Pick, The Airport and The Virgin, you will find yourself nearly receiting some of the catch phrases from each episode.
No matter that they were first aired nearly a decade ago, we can recall every detail as if it were fresh and the laughs are as easy to come by as ever.
Seinfeld offered such real-life humor that it can be counted as one of the few all time favorite comedy series in t.v. history, right up there with I Love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore and MASH.
Though it's true that being a New Yorker will give the viewer an edge as far as "typical" experiences and being able to relate to them first hand, it won't take long for someone from any other part of the country to find humor in every single episode.
It appears that every six months another season is being released, so should we assume that season five will be out in time for the 2005 holidays? Let's hope!!!
Rating: - "Break through" is right!
They called this the "Breakthrough" Season and they could not be more right. This is by far the funniest season so far available on DVD. All the classic humour and shows about nothing you would not want to miss out on.
Rating: - You can't blame me for not liking Seinfeld!
I can't believe how many people are offended by my negative reviews for their beloved Seinfeld! My not liking Seinfeld is nothing personal, its just a matter of taste. If I don't like jokes about Hitler's brutal dictatorship, or the vile practice known as circumcision, then that's a good enough reason to not like the show! I find that kind of material offensive and distasteful. You can't blame a person for not liking Seinfeld!
Rating: - sienfield 4th season
I seen previews for these Sienfield seasons, but what I seen on TV advertised isn't on any of these DVDs.
Little let down.
Rating: - Comedy Good for the Soul
'A Kid's Review' has been blowing things way out of proportion with his or her numerous reviews. Yes, Hitler killed over six million people and that's no laughing matter. I agree. But the Soup Nazi and Hitler are similar in no way. To make such a comparisson is juvenile and contemptible. I don't believe that most Holocaust survivors would even compare the Soup Nazi to Hitler. I think the victims of the Holocaust would have rather been denied soup in New York City than be killed by a madman. Choose your words wisely and be careful when you speak for others. Also, in response to your circumcision being compared to rape, well that idiotic comment speaks for itself. I can say for a fact that anyone would rather be curcumcised than raped. Lighten up and keep your childish comparrisons to yourself where no one has to listen to them.
To everyone else, watch Seinfeld or don't watch it. In my opinion, we recover from certain hardships through laughter. So, if you're not feeling like your old happy self, watch this show and laugh.
