Seinfeld - Season 4

 Seinfeld - Season 4
Rating:5 out of 5 stars - Best sitcom ever created
What can I say, I love Seinfeld, can't wait till the next season comes out!

Rating:5 out of 5 stars - Season 4: From great to brilliant
Season 4 marked Seinfeld's move from a great show--perhaps, at the time, an underrated show--to a brilliant show. This was the season in which Larry David's subtle, unparalleled vitriol bubbled to a level that could be understood and embraced by a wider audience, using the comedy of Jerry Seinfeld as a blueprint. Yet, still, it became so much more than an interpretation of Jerry's comedy and more an amalgamation of the aforementioned and David's ascerbic, knifing, skewed perception of the world's most mundane actions, interactions and daily trials.

The Pez Dispenser, the Moops, Babu Bhat, "They're real...and they're spectacular," "Do I smell that? What am I, hard of smelling?" Well, and, of course, perhaps the most ingenious 22 minutes of primetime network comedy ever produced, The Contest:

"I'm queen of the castle."
"I am king of the county."
"Lord of the manor."
"You? You'll be out before we get the check."

Season 4 marveled in the absurdity of everyday monotony and established the concept of "a show about nothing," thought we all knew that it was so much more. And, yet, if "nothing" was the premise, it could concurrently be so sublimely simple and ostentatiously complex as to mirror our own lives--though the looking-glass provided the antithesis to the banality of our lives.

I hope you have seen (and own), in order, the first three seasons, as Season 4 cements the legend of Seinfeld. From here, one has experienced enough to guilelessly sit back and enjoy the remaining seasons of, arguably, the best sitcom of all-time.

Michael Richards emerges during Season 4 as a true, comedic genius--not only physically, but in his impeccable timing in the character of Kramer. Yet, all the characters revel in their respective miasmas.

Sure, you can see Seinfeld in syndication many times per day, but to experience (or re-experience) it in the order of its release is something approaching beatific.

And, to those who chose to review here or elsewhere, please do yourself and countless others a favor by proofreading your writings for spelling errors, grammatical hindrances and superfluous or inappropriate punctuation. When posting your writing anywhere, whether printed or virtual, you should reflect the proper skill in the areas of discretion, tact and grammatical accuracy. Anything less detracts from the reader's ability to glean precisely (or even vaguely) what one is trying to convey.

Peace and be well. I am a very, very bad man.

Rating:5 out of 5 stars - The Seinfeld crew did it again!
The Seinfeld gang is back in the 4th season, and they still have the same unimportant problems as in seasons 1, 2, and 3. And as always it's still very funny and entertaining! The first episodes (The trip (1) and The trip (2)) starts with a BANG! Kramer is accused of murder, but he himself is not aware of this. Jerry and George on the other hand, who took the uportunity to find Kramer in L.A when Jerry had a show there, is getting more and more unsecure about Kramer. "Did he do it?" "No, he couldn't have done it" "Maybe he did do it!" This is two very good episodes, but they just keep getting better and better. All the episodes are good, but some reach new hights, like; The Bubble Boy, The Airport, The Contest, The Implant, The Handicap Spot and The Junior Mint. The 4th season also contains hours of spesial features; Behind the scenes, Inside looks, Deleted scenes, Outtakes, Bloopers, Trailers and much more. By the end of the season when you got the last episode of the last disc on play in your DVD. You get a bit sad because you know that this is the end, but at the same time very happy that you got the whole season 4 of Seinfeld on DVD to watch over and over again! I can't wait to see the 5th season on DVD!
