Without a doubt the best show of all time. As if we already didn't know, after all, it was named the funniest show of all time by TV Guide in 2003. And season 6, I'm sure, helped deliver that honor. With classic episodes like The Chinese Woman or the Fusilli Jerry, how can you possibly go wrong? Two words, you can't. I mean have you ever met a proctologist. That's right, I'm Cosmo Kramer the ASS MAN! If this four disc set doesn't keep you happy all day long then maybe you should get the other Seinfeld sets as well. It's great to finally see the show come to DVD, that way we don't have to watch only specific ones on TBS anymore, we can get them all. As Kramer once said, "Who wants to have some FUN!" and of course, Jerry speaking, "Well let's start the insanity." Of course not from the same episode.

It's Seinfeld. You either like it or you don't. If you like it, this is a "Must Have", otherwise pick something else.
Rating: - Superb, but one serious gripe!
Why is it that a list of commentary tracks can not be found anywhere??? I looked on the box, the cases, the pamphlet, and online and the only description I can find is "Yada, Yada, Yada - Cast and Crew Commentaries." This is very poor design, making people actually have to put in the DVD to find out where they are and who did them!? (This goes for the other DVDs as well.)
Rating: - SEINFELD'S COMEDIC INSPIRATION
Yes, Seinfeld is always funny. Here's what he said about his comedic inspiration: "[Lois Nettleton] was married to Jean Shepherd. He's the guy who invented talk radio and really formed my entire comedic sensibility. Yes. I learned how to do comedy from Jean Shepherd." He said this in his commentary for "The Gymnast" episode on the sitcom's DVD set, sixth season. Who is Jean Shepherd? See the book EXCELSIOR, YOU FATHEAD! THE ART AND ENIGMA OF JEAN SHEPHERD.
Rating: - Disappointment
I was very disappointed in Season Six. I thought it was a marked step down in quality from Season Five, which featured one classic episode after one another.
In this season, the writing seems a bit forced. Whereas Season Five managed to walk the fine line between absurdity and implausibility, this season just goes whole hog for the implausible, and with less-than-hilarious results.
That said, a few individual episodes still glimmer -- particularly "The Chinese Woman" and "The Beard." Otherwise, a lackluster season.
