Now, I normally don't watch DBZ. Actually, I used to think it was some lame, gay show on Cartoon Network for little kids. But my friend is obsessed with it and made me sit down and watch it in the original Japanese version. Watching Vegeta die with tears in his eyes made me actually cry too, even though before I hated this show. Even if you do hate DBZ, this is well worth the watch, because it's really emotional and well depicted.

Before I thought this show was so stupid! I sometimes saw this show in stores and I'd think "Is that dandruff flying from their hair. But after this episode, my mind changed entirely. I felt like I wanted to cry when I saw the tears rolling down Vegeta's eyes. I felt so emotional! I had not felt this way in so long. This is a touching scene that must be watched if you like Dragonball Z or not.

This is a great episode....since i am the biggest dbz fan to ever live.....seriously ^_^...and my favorite character is vegeta i have every episode and can remember anything......so i can remember this episode as clear as day!! Vegeta is being beaten by freeza after vegeta fights a remarkable and brave battle...finally goku comes just in time and freeza puts vegeta down...it is then when vegeta spilled his thoughts and told goku about everything about himself and all the things he had suffered growing up...yes vegeta cries which is unbelievable to many...this episode made me sad even though i thought it was a great episode!! plz get this......it is worth every penny

I thought vegeta was always cold hearted..and yet i thought wrong. I found that out when i saw vegeta fight for all he can, and then die. While he was crying I was crying at the same time. I knew vegeta wasn't cold hearted at all. I like vegeta a lot now, but he needs to not be so mean a lot of the times. He may be a prince, but he is still a kind guy inside. This is a great DVD to get, and sad at the same time. Please respect all DBZ fans and watch it. You don't have to and that is your choice, but this is a DBZ episode you'll never forget.
