The Kaffir Lime Leaves may be recognized by their distinctive two-lobed leaves. For simmering in Thai soups or curries. They can be finely shredded and added to salads and sprinkled over curries.

I was reluctant to order after reading the "mayancomputers" review, but I gave them a second chance. I ordered the kaffir lime leaves and some fresh lemongrass stalks. They were shipped Tuesday and I received them Thursday. The packaging of the leaves was adequate, they were in a thin styrofoam tray covered with plastic wrap, just like meat is packaged. The cooling gel pack was placed under the wrapped tray and both pieces were wrapped in heavy paper. The gel pack was no longer cool, but it's January so it didn't matter. The leaves are green and fresh-looking. The lemon grass was also wrapped tightly in plastic and then with heavy paper. I don't buy lemon grass often, so I can't say what it should look like, but they smell good. The teensy bit of tips that are exposed from the plastic seem a bit dry, but nothing that I wouldn't expect if I found the same thing at Kroger. I'd order from them again.

I'm very disappointed in the shipping methods of this supplier. I bought $12.95 worth of lime leaves that are now worthless due to inadequate packaging. The item arrived via priority mail, and was wrapped in brown paper that was sopping wet. Upon unwrapping, the gel coolant pack they placed on top of my produce had leaked everywhere. To make matters worse, the leaves themselves were simply lain on a styrofoam tray with saran wrap around them! They were not even sealed! So now not only is there stickl gel all over my hands, it is all over my lime leaves.
Good idea to provide this item, but terrible packaging, bad enough to prevent me from ordering from them again.
