'Hope ya didn't agree ta anything! To find out for sure, go to The Better Business Bureau's site. You can enter any company name and get a "rundown" on them. Luck!

Hi I used to be an employee of Traffix inc. the company who operates grouplotto.

If you would like a BBB listing you should look under Traffix inc.

The group lotto site isn't a scam per se but it does have lots of fine print to understand. They went through great length to make sure no laws were broken.

The thing you should know is that this is actually a sweepstakes not a lottery and that the grouplotto system is designed to collect marketing information. This makes sense because Traffix Inc. is a marketing company.

Probably the best analogy of grouplotto would be to the old "million dollar winner" junk mail that was so popular in the 80's that claimed you won a million but in actually it was just a means to sell you magazines or some such thing.

There is a chance of winning something but its not guaranteed as one might be lead to believe by the spam.

I have learned not to get to excited about these things because of pass experience's! I received the same email that Michelle did saying I won $1,000,000. I responded and they wanted information and money Western Unioned to them. I didn't send them anything. I did search for a website for the so-called lawyer that was suppose to handle the transaction in the Netherlands and found a website on the google search called 419. Please check this website out. It tells and shows how these scam artist work and what can be done. Please look at this website and help out by forwarding the scam emails sent to you to them. I hope this helps someone. I too get a lot of email from Freelotto and it's so called cookies and when I responded in for the winnings they give me the run around!By reading all the reports I am totally convinced now that it is a scam!I looked up the info to see if it was a scam but their names was not under the list, so it makes you confused. First thing you should be thinking is did I register or enter any such lottery. If you didn't, and most likely if you have to think about it, you most likelydidn't. Second, you should wonder how in the hell did they get my email address, because if you didn't find them they shouldn't be able to find you. just some ideas, keep your mind open to scams. So many people get these scam e-mails, and the best thing to do is just remove yourself from their mailing list(s). As for checking with the BBB, well, you won't have much luck 'cause it's an American based company, and BBB is Canadian. Might wanna try the U.S. but keep in mind that their rules for things are very different than ours. They guarantee Visa cards to people in the U.S., not in Canada.

Same as everyone here.i have recived many emails from freeltto,grouplotto,i guess they are all connected through a web,so if u respond to one - the others are informed and start to scam you !!

Group Lotto keeps saying I have cash.
