a friend paid for and i went to a ft wayne freedom playoff game man we had sweet tickets right behind visitors pit. Minnesota Vikings: A Superbowl Favorite? |

I beleive, in observing the teams around the NFL the Vikings have the best potential of winning the superbowl this year, I know everyone probobly thinks that they are going to flop in the second half of the year again after having a terrific start, BUT, the reason was, on those chokes in the second half of the year is that the Vikings had no defense, nadda zip nill zero defense, now, the Vikings have a Potential top 10 defense with a proven top ten offense, I know that they dont have moss anymore but with nate buerleson taking over as the #1 receiver is probobly the best yards after catch receiver in the game, anyways what im getting at is that the vikings had made it to the playoffs last year with a horrible defense and got to the second round, I beleive with a defense they can at least make it to the NFC championship game because of their aquisitions. ETC... Ted Cottrel was the defenseive coordinator of antoine winfeild, pat williams and sam cowart before he ever was the coordinatior with the vikings and he also was the defensive coordinatior for the new york jets a few years back and they had gone through a similar defensive change to the vikings, so what im getting at is that Teddy cotrel knows what hes doing etc..etc... I keep hearing crap that the redskins go out a buy a ton of defense every year and they still cant break the 500 mark, the thing about that is the redskins defense was ranked second last year, it was just their offense that sucked so anyone saying that the vikings defense cant do what the redskins had does not know what their talking about posted by bennye at 2:47 AM EDT | Discussion (10) | TrackBack (0) |

come on, they have their offense, and plus they signed jim bates! nobody ever seems to remember that! for all we know their D could turn out pretty decent. i do think they should cut DT Cledtius Gunt to relieve some cap space and start Donnel Washington behind Grady Jackson. They will save a lot of money and they could sign a pretty decent player like Peter Boulware or Ty Law. Who do you think is the best overall player in the NFL. In my opinion it is Julius Peppers. Very talented athlete with a tremendous upside and great size and speed and he is still young.
