Cosmos Explorer Bar Beta

You can now download a "beta" version of the Cosmos Explorer Bar. I am not an experienced programmer, so I have used a little utility to create the bar. I have just realized that this utility is a trial version which expires in 30 days ($100 to register). Perhaps there are some "real" programmers out there who could build the bar from scratch.

Installation:

1. Download cosmosexplorer.zip.
2. Extract the contents to a folder and open the file "TR_MyBars.ini"
3. At the end of the "File Location" line, replace "enter-your-API-key-here" with your Technorati API key, and save the file. If you don't have a Technorati API key, you can get one here.
4. Run the file "InstallBar.exe". (You may or may not need to restart.)

You can then start the bar via View>Explorer Bar>Cosmos Explorer Bar or you can add the icon to your toolbar (No, I wasn't ambitous enough to design custom icons).

I have also created a bookmarklet version of the bar. The bookmarklet version, however, will not update automatically as you surf -- you need to access the bookmarklet each time you want to see the Cosmos for the page you are viewing. Just drag the following link -- Cosmos Bar -- to your "Links" toolbar or right-click>"Add to favorites". You will then have to edit the bookmarklet by accessing the "properties". Once again, replace "enter-your-API-key-here" with your API key.

And now you are ready to start exploring the blog cosmos...
